About the Tiger & Palmen Group

The Tiger & Palmen Group includes four popular Frankfurt institutions. Each of the four companies has its own identity, but together they captivate with a common vision. As is well known, the Tiger & Palmen Group stands for top performance, credibility, team spirit paired with innovation, and future as well as sustinability an quality. We see ourselves as a service-providing company and always place the gueast at the center of all operational processes. Founders

Robert Mangold

Managing Director Tiger & Palmen Group

The hotelier and restaurateur Robert Mangold is responsible for the management of the Tiger & Palms Group as Managing Director. This includes all areas of the commercial departments, technology, human resources, marketing and sales as well as the gastronomies of the Tigerpalast Varieté Theater, the 2-star restaurant Lafleur, Relais & Châteaux, the event and banquet gastronomy of the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten and the Caféhaus Siesmayer.

Since the founding of the Varietétheater Verband Deutschlands, he was a deputy member of the executive committee from 2003 to 2013 and has since presided over the association as president. Mangold is a member of the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry, DEHOGA Vice President Hesse and Chairman of the Frankfurt District Association. For the 30th anniversary in October 2018, he received the prestigious Binding Culture Award in Frankfurt am Main together with Margareta Dillinger and Johnny Dillinger.

Margareta Dillinger

Artitic Director

Together with Johnny Klinke and Matthias Beltz, Margareta Dillinger founded the Tigerpalast Varieté Theater in 1988. She has been one of the most accomplished connoisseurs of international artistry for two decades.
At the Tigerpalast she is responsible for the artistic direction of the management. Dillinger shows herself to be a dedicated promoter of young artists from all over the world and regularly travels to various circus festivals and artistic events to discover new talents.

In 2000, she was awarded the honorary plaque of the city of Frankfurt for her international and cultural work. In addition, in 2007, she received the Goethe Plaque of the State of Hesse, for her commitment to the Tigerpalast, which she received together with Johnny Klinke. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary in October 2018, she received, together with Klinke and Mangold, the prestigious Binding Culture Prize in Frankfurt am Main, the highest cultural honor in Hesse. 

Johnny Klinke

Director Tigerpalast

Together with Margareta Dillinger and Matthias Beltz, Klinke founded the Tigerpalast Varieté Theater in 1988. At the Tigerpalast he is responsible for the management, stage operations and events outside the theater. In addition to many engagements for international and cultural initiatives in the Rhine-Main area and consulting activities for various institutions, he is a sought-after jury member of various circus festivals.

In 2007, together with Margareta Dillinger, he received the Goethe Plaque of the State of Hesse. For the 30th anniversary in October 2018 he received together with Margareta Dillinger and Robert Mangold the prestigious Binding Culture Award in Frankfurt am Main, the highest cultural honor in Hesse.
